The tattooed model's reunion with her ex-fiancé, TOWIE's Kirk Norcross, was one of the most anticipated moments of the dating show's current series and now, Cami has revealed she had to lie to make sure it actually happened.
She has always said she purposely chose to do Ex On The Beach to get revenge on Kirk, but now Cami has revealed she was actually dating someone while filming for the show.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Cami admitted: "I didn't do Ex On The Beach to find someone. I did it to get revenge... I wanted revenge on Kirk and I always get what I want. I'm still dating the same person I was dating when I was on Celebrity Big Brother at the start of the year."
And considering Ex On The Beach relies on its stars being single, Cami went on to reveal she had to fool show bosses into thinking she wasn't with anyone to secure her place on this series' lineup.
"I had to lie to MTV execs about [my realtionship]," she added. "I was a bit nervous they'd find out. I had to be careful on my social media."
Now filming has finished and Ex On The Beach is currently airing on our screens, Cami revealed producers now know about her romance, but didn't mind as her entrance was too entertaining to miss out on.
Viewers watched Cami surprise Kirk on the beach and the reality star was not best pleased to see his former flame. Arriving with all guns blazing, Cami was quick to throw a drink in Kirk's face before the pair exchanged a tirade of insults.
Despite their explosive start, Cami and Kirk did seem to make amends. After being sent to a spiritualist, the ex-couple finally opened up about their bitter split, with Cami telling Kirk she was "so heartbroken" her heart turned black.
Blaming him for her now fiery persona, the US beauty told Kirk: "It was hard being with you Kirk, it was very hard. That relationship made me very hateful and a very mean person... it's just the person I've become. It's the monster, the creation from the break up. I was so heartbroken that my heart turned black."
Cami and Kirk had enjoyed a whirlwind romance that saw the pair get engaged, however, they soon split five months later. Kirk had called off their wedding and Cami later revealed she ended the relationship as he had become too controlling.
Apologising for his actions, Kirk told Cami: "Cami, I'm sorry if I did anything bad. I only ever wanted to get engaged once and I'm gutted it never worked out. The time that I spent with you was the best time of my life that I've ever had so far, but I wasn't in the right frame of mind."
While Cami is now happily loved up with someone else, Kirk is engaged to girlfriend Holli Willis and the pair are expecting their first child together.
Sharing his exciting news with fans, Kirk revealed last month he is set to become a dad, admitting embarking on parenthood is the "proudest moment" of his life so far.
