The singer-turned-billionaire businesswoman was pictured arriving back at her hotel in a pretty LBD and heels, after visiting the New York Stock Exchange, where she had rung the opening bell.
Jess rang the bell while celebrating the 10th anniversary of her phenomenally successful Jessica Simpson Collection of shoes, bags, fragrances, beauty and hair products and more.
The company has made her a billionaire businesswoman and, during an interview with CNBC, she credited her success to keeping the business all about family and those loyal to her.
After her day at the Stock Exchange, she emerged from her hotel in a different outfit: black leather trousers, a patterned shirt and a smart black jacket, as she joined husband Eric Johnson for dinner.
The couple have two children: daughter Maxwell and son Ace.
Jess admitted this week that her marriage to ex-husband Nick Lachey was probably her "biggest money mistake" but didn't elaborate on what she meant. They were together from 2002 until 2005. Nick is now married to TV presenter Vanessa, the mother of his two children.
