American footballer Tom confirmed today that all is well between the couple, telling Boston radio station WEEI that supermodel Gisele remains his biggest fan.
"We're in a great place. I'm a lucky man. There's no bigger supporter than I have than her and vice versa. I've been very blessed to have an incredible relationship with my life partner. I don't think anything would ever get in the way of that," he said.
New England Patriots' Tom's comments echo what Gisele posted to Instagram at the weekend: a happy family photo of Tom playing with their daughter Vivian in the garden.
Sources had claimed there was "stress" in their marriage over the past year, with an insider telling People: "Tom is singularly focused on his career and sometimes Gisele feels left out. There have been arguments."
But the sources said that didn't mean a split was coming.
The couple married in Santa Monica, California in February 2009, then held a second wedding ceremony two months later at Gisele's home in Costa Rica.
They have two children: son Benjamin, five, and daughter Vivian, two. Tom also has son John, eight, from a previous relationship.
