Davood, who plays Kush Kazemi in the BBC One soap, won the gong at the annual awards ceremony held at the Hilton Park Lane.
Davood was pretty chuffed with the win, and thanked fans later via Twitter: "Thanks for all the votes and all the love! It's been a damn good night! #TVChoiceAwards #eastenders."
Arriving at the ceremony with co-star Rakhee Thakrar (who plays Shabnam Masood), Davood looked dapper in a grey suit and purple tie.
Meanwhile, Rakhee looked beautiful in a stunning cream and blue lace maxi gown.
Both Davood and Rakhee have been at the centre of the soap in recent weeks following a heartbreaking stillbirth storyline, which saw Shabnam and Kush's unborn baby die.
Working closely alongside Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, both Davood and Rakhee, and the EastEnders team have been commended for the way the storyline has been handled.
It was a double celebration for 'Enders, as they also won best soap.
