Spencer and his wife Heidi Montag appeared on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side via Skype last night and said the US stars should stop bickering with each other and unite, in a bid to take on the Brits.
The couple, also known as Speidi, came second in the 2013 winter series of CBB and Spencer especially is remembered for his controversial behaviour on the show.
But speaking to CBBBOTS host Rylan Clark last night, he said: "I'm very happy about how entertaining the US is, but I hate the way the US is fighting with the US.
"I think we should be fighting with the Brits. It's ridiculous, I don't even know why the US are talking to the Brits!"
When asked why he felt the Americans were turning on each other, Spencer continued: "Egos, it's crazy. Everyone has their own perception of what people think they are really like, but they're tripping - nobody likes any of them.
"None of them have fans. The only chance is to step up and unite because, as individuals, they are whack!"
Spencer and Heidi, who found fame on MTV's The Hills, appeared on CBB as one contestant, just like this year's couple Chloe Jasmine and Stevi Ritchie.
But Heidi feels Chloe and Stevi are not strong enough to cope with the pressures of the show.
She explained: "They're such a new couple that it's too much pressure for them. They're almost divided, it's like, 'Do we want to be together or not?'
"It's only hurting them, not helping them. That girl is crying all the time, I feel for her. For them it's a disadvantage, but for us it was an advantage."
Rylan then asked about coping with sexual frustration in the house, to which Spencer replied: "They don't even look like they have... The only frustration is that she looks like she wants to bang that other dude!"
