TOWIE's Lewis Bloor has responded to a report that he shared a cab with Marnie Simpson after the Jeans for Genes charity event last night.

The story was published today with the headline, 'Marnie Simpson grabs a cab at 3AM with Lewis Bloor – DAYS after splitting from Ricky Rayment."

Essex star Lewis responded to the report via Twitter, saying: "Some bulls**t story today. Sorry guys, you're way off the mark there."

Lewis Bloor attends the world's first movement activated performance by singer Ella Eyre, partnered with leading antiperspirant Sure, where the more the audience move, the more spectacular and energised Ella's set will become, at the Century Club on August 19, 2015 in London, England. However, did he read the story? The actual report doesn't insinuate anything happened between them. It just says Lewis and Marnie were pictured chatting and having a laugh outside a London nightclub on Wednesday (2 September).

A rep for Lewis is quoted as telling The Mirror: "There were other people with them and he and Marnie are just friends and wouldn't be anything more. They all went to the Jeans for Genes event and there were names from lots of show there. Lewis himself is in a relationship with Stacey Hannant."

Marnie became engaged to Lewis' ex-TOWIE co-star Ricky Rayment in June, but the couple have been at the centre of split rumours in recent days. Neither of them have confirmed their status.
