Love Island's Jess Hayes has slammed her ex-boyfriend Max Morley for being "fame hungry", after he was spotted kissing Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.

Last night, Max and Charlotte were pictured kissing while leaving a showbiz bash together in London and having seen the photos of her former flame's recent PDA, Jess has taken to Instagram to have her say.

Clearly unimpressed with Max's behaviour, as he and Jess only confirmed their split last week, the reality star hit out at her ex-beau labelling him "desperate" and a "wrongen".

Jess shared a screenshot of a message she had wrote to her Instagram feed. It read: "Didn't expect anything less, compulsive liar and fame hungry little boy. Laughable. Only two days ago [he] was telling me he missed me! Desperate."

While she didn't directly reference Max in her message, fans were quick to guess it was the 22-year-old that she was talking about.

Alongside her post, Jess added the caption: "The things people do to be in the media forgetting who they hurt along the way .. Wrongen."

Jess' comments come after Max was spotted leaving a party, hosted by Jeans For Genes, hand-in-hand with Charlotte (who recently split with her ex-boyfriend Mitch Jenkins for the second time). The pair were then pictured kissing in the back of the taxi as they headed elsewhere.

Max and Charlotte's kiss comes just one week after he confirmed he and Jess had broken up. Taking to Twitter, Max told fans he and his co-star had given their relationship "their best shot", while Jess tweeted: "Some things are just not meant to be..."

Romance had blossomed for the pair while they were starring on ITV2's Love Island back in July. On the show, Max had asked Jess to officially be his girlfriend and after going on to win the Love Island, the pair told Reveal they couldn't wait for their future together.

On returning back to the UK, however, the couple were plagued by split rumours.

After rowing in public on several occasions, Max and Jess were forced to admit they were going through a rocky patch, but both stars assured fans everything was ok between them, and they were hopeful they could work things out.

So much so, that Max had urged people to "stop getting involved" in his and Jess' romance.

Despite putting on a united front, it seems the pair couldn't sort through their issues and they have now gone their separate ways, six weeks after initially getting together.
