The singer and YouTuber shone on the red carpet at Chinawhite on Wednesday (2 September), as she leant her support to the annual charity event. Sticking to the jeans dress code, Lauren teamed her denims with a purple crop top and heels for a casual chic look.
Lauren appeared on last year's X Factor, where she was mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. She finished in fourth place, just behind Ben Haenow, Fleur East and Andrea Faustini.
Since then, she's taken part in the X Factor Live Tour but recently said singing is now on the backburner as she focuses on other projects, including her growing YouTube channel and a CBBC presenting job.
She told fans: "Obviously I'm never ever giving up singing guys, but as well as singing why not take all of the other amazing opportunities I've been given."
Lauren explained that singing took a backseat while she recovered from an illness that first appeared during live shows on X Factor. "I have been singing a little bit but I had to take a back seat as I got really, really ill before and just after the tour. When I was on the show, really, but it wasn't picked up on very much."
"I took a back seat. I panicked at the time but I think it was a blessing in disguise," she added. "I love singing but I found other avenues I love too, like presenting. I've also started YouTubing and that's really exciting because obviously the platform I had in the first place from X Factor has completely blown up! And I have a new show on BBC in January called Got What It Takes? When they first asked me I said, 'Really? You want me to be a presenter? Really?!'"
It was somewhat of an X Factor reunion at yesterday's bash, as other former contestants including Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald and Rough Copy also attended, along with former Stereo Kicks singer Jake Sims.
