Katie Hopkins has sent her support to Caroline Flack, following claims Caroline tweeted and deleted emotional messages in reference to her ex-boyfriend.

It was reported yesterday that Caroline was upset to see a photo of her ex Jack Street hanging out with another woman, prompting her to share a cryptic Instagram and two tweets, that were all later deleted.

But now, Katie has come to her defence.

We know, Katie Hopkins defending someone and not having a go at them! What is happening?!

In today's column for The Sun, Katie said: "I think Caroline Flack is great. She seems to be a very normal kind of famous person. Which is why, like any normal person, when she saw a picture of her ex-boyfriend sitting next to someone pretty in Ibiza she decided to retaliate on Twitter.

"Caroline, my love. It may hurt like hell. It may even make you cry in the toilets. But you are now a powerful woman and have a toned core. He is just a boy on a boat with bum-fluff on his face. You got this thing."

So far, Caroline hasn't confirmed whether she sent the Instagram and tweets or who they were about.

The Instagram was apparently a picture of her holding the Glitterball Trophy after winning Strictly Come Dancing and the caption read: "When someone ruins the biggest day of your lifeā€¦"

Her tweets were directed at Sam Smith, who is managed by Jack, and was the one who reportedly shared the photo of Jack in Ibiza.

One tweet allegedly read: "You love to push that buttons."

Caroline and Jack split for a second time this year.
