In July last year, Cheryl shocked fans by wedding Jean-Bernard in secret, just three months after they initially began dating. Since then, the former Girls Aloud star has been pretty smitten with her beau, but despite settling down, she insists the pair won't be hearing the pitter patter of baby feet any time soon.
Speaking to The Sun On Sunday, the 32-year-old admitted she isn't ready to have a baby of her own.
Insisting she is preferring being an auntie at the moment, Cheryl said: "I have 12 nieces and nephews of all ages and I love them all to bits, but it's exhausting."
"Any aunt knows one of the best things is that after all your fun you can hand them back to their parents," she added. "It's knackering. So no, I'm enjoying life as an aunt... that's not changing any time soon."
Cheryl's comments on starting a family come after she was surrounded by pregnancy rumours earlier this year.
Following her time on The X Factor last series, Cheryl took a break from social media and after choosing not to attend the National TV Awards with her fellow judges in January, fans began to speculate she was expecting.
While she didn't directly deny such rumours, Cheryl did poke fun at the speculation she was set to become a mum on Instagram. At the time the pregnancy rumours were circulating, Cheryl opened her first centre for young people in Newcastle as part of her charity Cheryl's Trust.
And to announce her news, the starlet wrote: "I'm happy to announce my exciting news. I will be delivering my first... centre in Newcastle for young people #CherylsTrust."
Instead of starting her own brood, Cheryl has been busy fussing over one little one in particular, her BFF Kimberley Walsh's baby boy Bobby.
Gushing about the tot when addressing her own plans to start a family, she added: "Bobby's laughter is the most infectious thing in the world."
While Cheryl revealed she is known to little Bobby as "auntie Chezza" (cute, right?), she did admit she is waiting to hear if she has made the cut as his godmother. We reckon she's got a good chance, don't you?
Kimberley first welcomed son Bobby on 4 September 2014. Shortly after his arrival, Cheryl was quick to congratulate her pal, telling Kimberley her bubba is "perfect".
