Peter Andre has said wife Emily MacDonagh has been giving him "grief" over Strictly Come Dancing!

By "grief", Peter revealed the young doctor has already started to look out for all the sparkly costumes that he could potentially wear on stage.

It was revealed this week that Peter would be taking part in the new series of the BBC dancing show, which is due to return to our screens in September.

Speaking on Free Radio, Peter was asked if he asked Emily for her permission before signing up for the show.

"Of course I did!," he said. "Guys, I've heard the best saying, 'I wear the trousers, but she picks 'em for me'.

"She picks the colours, the size, the belt, I mean you have to ask permission! I'm not gonna hear the end of it by the way. She's already sending me pictures of sparkly outfits with smiley faces at the end, she's giving me grief already."

We're guessing Emily is just a tad excited to see Peter take centre stage!

Peter and Emily tied the knot on 11 July at Mamhead House in Exeter. They confirmed their engagement in January 2014 shortly after welcoming their first child together - daughter Amelia.

Singer and TV presenter Peter is also dad to son Junior and daughter Princess from his previous relationship with ex-wife Katie Price.
