According to multiple reports from the US, the reality star was taken into custody on allegations she threw a glass at her ex-fiancé's new partner.
Her local news outlet, Myrtle Beach Online, reports that police were called to an address in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Thursday (20 August) afternoon, following claims of an assault.
It's alleged that Jenelle's former fiancé, Nathan Griffith, was at the house to collect belongings but the star was unhappy he'd brought his new girlfriend with him and threw a glass at her head.
The local news report she was charged with third-degree assault but a full police report would not be released until Friday.
A rep for Jenelle told TMZ that she "felt Nathan was provoking her by bringing over the new girl." He has not made any public comment.
Jenelle, meanwhile, has no public comment, either, but she did retweet a message from the @JenelleEvansPR account which read: "Jenelle appreciates all the support from her fans!"
She and Nathan became engaged at the start of the year but split in July. They have a son together, Kaiser, who is one. Jenelle also has a son, Jace, six, from a previous relationship.
The reality star has had multiple run ins with the law over the years. This is her third arrest this year.
