While appearing on the Today show over in the US - a mark of just how successful they have been! - the band took a moment to reflect on the fact it's now four years since they were formed on the eight series of X Factor.
Jade Thirlwall said: "We remember it so well! It just felt like we were meant to be. When we were put together, we just clicked straightaway. We have had the best time of our lives these past four years and it's all because of the fans, so thank you very much."
Jesy Nelson added: "It so strange to us, though. We feel like we've been together longer than that. It feels like it's been 20 years, doesn't it girls? I can't remember my life before you lot!"
After winning X Factor, they went on to score mega chart hits, sell millions of records and release three pretty amazing studio albums. Not bad, right?!
And they've achieved something many, many other artists have never managed to do: crack the US market! The girls are over in the US right now promoting single 'Black Magic' and new album Get Weird. They performed at the Teen Choice Awards over the weekend and picked up the 'Choice Breakthrough' prize; their very-first award in the US. The first of many, we think!
They were on the Today show to perform 'Black Magic' and 'Wings', as well as chat about their new album and that TCA performance. Jesy admitted: "It literally was terrifying. It's such a huge thing for us, wasn't it? We've never performed at the Teen Choice Awards before, so it was our first time. It was amazing!"
