Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby may have ditched the dirt on her ex-beau Gary Beadle in her new autobiography, but she insists things between the pair are now "better than ever".

Since Geordie Shore first aired four years ago, viewers have watched Charlotte and Gary's tumultuous relationship on screen. From their on/off romance to their blazing rows, the pair have struggled to live alongside each other in the Geordie Shore house, especially Charlotte after she fell for her co-star.

But despite their many fallouts, it seems the pair are now back on track with Charlotte revealing she and Gary are now in a "good place" as they can finally be just friends.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning earlier today, Charlotte opened up about her relationship with her former flame, insisting things between her and Gary are all ok.

"We are better than ever," she said. "We're actually in a good place because he has a girlfriend and I've got a boyfriend. We're finally friends and there's no other element to it. We're literally just friends."

Charlotte's comments are nice to hear, especially as things have been tense between herself and her co-star recently.

After fans watched a heartbroken Charlotte deal with the news Gary had finally met someone else, his girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg, she claimed Gaz had been two-timing Lillie with her when they first started dating.

Gary has said there is absolutely no truth in her allegations and Lillie has hit back, insisting she trusts her beau implicitly.

Charlotte has since spilled all about her relationship with her co-star in her autobiography, Me Me Me, admitting she was "stupidly in love" with Gary.

"With Gary it was a one-way street. I had such strong feelings for this boy but I knew they were never going to be reciprocated," she says. "I knew he would never love me in the way I wanted him to."

The 25-year-old then adds: "Every time I saw him with other girls my heart broke, I was convinced I'd never be able to get over him. That's when 'Psycho Charlotte' made an appearance. It was my coping mechanism, an outlet for all my emotions!"

Despite opening up about her relationship with Gary in her book, Charlotte admitted she didn't tell him he would take a starring role. Gary has said he isn't worried about what she has to say, though, insisting he has never lied to her from their time together.

Now both reality stars are happily loved-up in new relationships. While Gary has been dating Lillie for over six months now, Charlotte has rekindled her romance with boyfriend Mitch Jenkins.

Despite rumours of a split last month, she and Mitch are still very much together, with Charlotte revealing she wants to settle down in three years time.

Asked when she would like to start a family, Charlotte replied: "When I'm 28... 28-and-a-half. That's when it's going to happen."

Speaking of Mitch, the starlet also revealed her beau handles her celebrity status really well.

Insisting Mitch isn't really a fan of the whole 'being famous' thing, she added: "We don't even talk about it when we're at home. It's dead normal. He keeps us grounded."
