Katie Price opens up about her past marriage to Peter Andre in new Channel 5 documentary, Katie Price: In Therapy.

Former glamour model Katie opens up to Dr Claudia Bernat in the documentary where she says she once "idolised" Peter and revealed they could have still been together if they didn't have their own reality show.

"Because we met on a TV show our whole life was on TV, a reality show, birthdays, kids born, everything was a photo shoot and filmed," said Katie. "If it wasn't, would we have stayed together? Who knows?"

Katie and Peter, who have two children together - son Junior and daughter Princess - met on the third series on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.

They tied the knot in September 2005 but split in May 2009 after three and a half years of marriage, with their divorce being finalised in September of the same year.

"I thought that we could have been together forever," Katie told Claudia. "I idolised him and he did me, definitely."

Katie claimed she and Peter split in 2009 because he suspected that something was going on between her and her horse trainer - something which Katie has outright denied.

Katie is now married to former stripper Kieran Hayler, while Peter is married to recently qualified doctor Emily MacDonagh.

Katie Price: In Therapy airs on 21 August on Channel 5 at 9pm.
