Former One Direction member Zayn made his first red carpet appearance at the world premiere of Straight Outta Compton, marking his first celebrity event since his split with Little Mix's Perrie Edwards came to light.
Zayn, 22, kept it simple in all black as he wore a shirt with the word 'TRUTH' emblazoned in white large font.
Zayn kept a straight face as he stood on the black carpet and posed for photos. His attendance at the premiere comes just a day after he was spotted at Kylie Jenner's lavish 18th birthday celebrations.
It was revealed last week that Zayn and fiancée Perrie had split. Reports soon emerged saying Zayn was the one who ended their four-year romance.
The couple got engaged in August 2013, but Zayn reportedly called off the engagement and broke up with Perrie via text message.
Zayn hasn't publicly commented on any of the reports, but he did cryptically tweet: "You just can't do enough for some people, I guess."
Perrie, who is on a promotional tour with Little Mix in America, has briefly referenced their split. She told a TV presenter she was "good" when asked how she was coping, and she has since deleted all pictures of Zayn from her Instagram account.
Reports over the weekend claimed Perrie was going to open up about her split with Zayn in a TV interview on James Corden's The Late Late Show.
Zayn recently signed a solo record deal with RCA Records, officially marking his transition from boyband member to solo artist.
