Mario Falcone and his brother-in-law, McFly's Tom Fletcher, enjoyed a boys afternoon together getting their bake on.

See we're not the only ones who have got Bake Off fever!

The Great British Bake Off returned to our screens last week and after Dorret Conway's 'bingate' miss we're totally hooked.

We're dreaming, thinking and talking all things Bake Off and by the looks of things so are Mario and Tom...

Taking to Instagram, Mario shared a photo of himself and the McBusted star donning their aprons and baking essentials for an afternoon in the kitchen.

Who knew they were big fans of Mary Berry, eh?!

While Mario opted for a stripy apron and oven gloves, Tom (who is married to the former TOWIE star's sister Giovanna) decided to go one more and don a chef's hat as well as his floral number. Good effort!

Alongside his photo, Mario told fans: "So today we are celebrating the Great British Bake off and baking. Lads lads lads."

Can they do Paul Hollywood proud though? Here's hoping we see the boys' finished results!

Mario's latest Instagram comes after he recently revealed he has quit The Only Way Is Essex after four years starring on the reality show.

While a spokesperson for TOWIE has said the door is open for Mario to return, the 27-year-old has said it's time for him to move on and focus on other projects.

Looking back at his time on TOWIE, Mario addressed his exit, telling fans he has both "good and bad" memories from his time on camera.

"I have had a fantastic time on TOWIE and met some amazing people along the way," he said. "Some good memories and some bad, but all have helped me become the man I am.

Mario then added: "But I can confirm I have decided to leave the show and pursue some new adventures! Thank you for all your comments today. It means a lot #TOWIE #emotional."

On hearing news of his departure, Mario's TOWIE co-stars were quick to send him their well wishes.

James Arg Argent told his pal he "will be missed", while Lydia Bright's mum Debbie Douglas wished Mario "all the happiness in the world" for the future.

Mario hasn't yet revealed what other ventures he will be turning his attentions to, but less time on camera can only mean more time spent with his adorable nephew Buzz, no?

Seeing that cute face on the regular, that's got to be a no brainer!
