Black Eyed Peas star Will has been a coach on the show since its inception in 2012, but according to new reports, the musician and famed producer is bowing out after four years.
Following the exit of Rita Ora, who quit The Voice to be a judge on rival show The X Factor, Will is said to have decided to leave, despite bosses being "desperate" to keep him in.
A source told the Daily Star: "Will has been in discussions with producers but decided he doesn't want to return this year. He's disappointed Rita Ora left and is frustrated the show has failed to produce an international star.
"He was especially upset his former contestant Leah McFall failed to set the charts alight."
However, a show insider has since told The Metro that producers are "confident" the rapper will be back.
The judging line-up for the new series of The Voice has yet to be confirmed. Ricky Wilson recently said he hasn't heard whether he is returning to the show. No word has also been mentioned about Tom Jones either.
Elsewhere, it was reported last month that The Voice could jump ship to ITV for its next series.
The talent show is contracted to stay with the BBC for one more series in 2016, but reports suggest it could switch channels to ITV, as the BBC are reportedly reluctant to pay the £11million wanted to secure the show.
