Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has deleted all photos of her ex-fiancé Zayn Malik from her Instagram page, following their shock split.

Removing any sign of your former flame on your social media accounts is usually a tell tale sign that things are officially over. Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt did so when she split with co-star Josh Shepherd and after Mario Falcone recently done the same with his girlfriend Emma McVey, the TOWIE star has us all under the impression all is not well with his relationship either.

News broke earlier this week that Zayn had called off their engagement and following suit, Perrie has now done the same making her own feed on the photo-sharing app a total Zayn-free zone.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice Perrie's social media clean up.

One user commented: "Perrie Edwards deleted all her pictures with Zayn Malik off Instagram & my heart hurts." While another said: "That's so sad."

Despite seeming nothing but loved-up lately, Zayn decided to end his romance with the X Factor star and is said to have called off their engagement two weeks ago by text message.

According to reports, Perrie is said to be "livid" with her former flame. A source told The Sun she feels "betrayed" after standing by Zayn following his exit from One Direction and cheating allegations that surfaced earlier this year.

The couple got engaged in August 2013 and were preparing to move into their £3million six-bedroom mansion in North London.

News of their split comes as Perrie is currently busy on a promo tour with Little Mix in Los Angeles.

While she hasn't directly addressed her break up, Perrie was asked in a recent interview how she is doing and quickly replied she is "good" before her bandmates cut off any more questions.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock jumped in to tell the reporter: "We don't really want to talk about it."

Despite going through a very public split, it seems Perrie is trying to put the break down of her romance behind her. She was spotted in Los Angeles earlier today in good spirits, wearing a smile on her face.

Zayn, meanwhile has broken his silence on the news, telling fans: "You just can't do enough for some people."
