The superstar received the 2,556th star, with directors Lee Daniels and Brett Ratner, and Mariah's longtime collaborator and Epic Records CEO, L.A. Reid among the guest speakers.
She was also joined by her twin children, daughter Monroe and son Moroccan, from her former marriage to Nick Cannon.
The 45-year-old mum of two looked absolutely stunning in a dazzling black dress as she posed by her star to honour her 25-year career.
However, she was upstaged by Moroccan, who proved that a taste for the spotlight clearly runs in the family!
Delighted at seeing his mum on the stage, Moroccan was seen leaning in by the side to get a piece of the action. But he didn't have to wait for too long, as Mariah eventually brought him and Monroe up to the mic stand.
Then, when posing on the red carpet for official photos, it was Moroccan who ran over to his mum and began hugging her. Aww!
Mariah, who released her first album in 1990, has had 18 No. 1 hits and has sold more than 200 million albums.
Mariah's fans - called Lambily - turned out in force to see her on her special day.
Mariah told the crowd: "I can't thank you enough. You're melting my heart. That's why I keep my sunglasses."
The 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker was scheduled to receive a star in 2007 but it was only recently finalised.
A Walk of Fame producer said: "Her team wanted a date after [she] finished her sold-out Las Vegas residency."
Congrats to Mariah!
