A few weeks back, the X Factor boyband announced to fans they have decided to split as the Stereo Kicks after failing to secure a record deal. And now, having performed their final gig as an eight-piece, Charlie and Barclay have treated themselves to a break overseas before, no doubt, embarking on what's next.
Taking to social media the boys have been sharing their Spanish reunion with fans. While Charlie shared a sunny selfie of himself and Barclay to Instagram, his bandmate shared another to Twitter.
Usually the boys have the posing on point, but in Barclay's funny snap he and Charlie decided to pull funny faces for the camera instead. And while Barclay dubbed the picture as the "worst photo ever", it seems they can do no wrong when it comes to their loyal fans.
Many were quick to comment on the singer's post, with one user telling the boys they thought it was the "cutest photo ever", while another said: "I love it."
Charlie and Barclay's trip to Spain comes after Charlie recently revealed he had written a song with fellow Stereo Kicks star Tom Mann.
Despite the band announcing their split, the pair have already got stuck into new music, teasing their joint track 'Choose You' on Twitter. Tom tweeted: "Soooo... Wrote & recorded a song with @CharlieJones last week. Anyone wanna hear it? Charlie's voice sounds pretty cool on it..."
And we have to say it sounds pretty good!
Stereo Kicks shocked fans after deciding to go their separate ways, a year after being put together. Despite their debut single 'Love Me So' reaching number 12 in the mid-week charts, the eight boys admitted they struggled to continue as an unsigned act in the music biz and as a result, have decided to call it quits.
Addressing their fans shortly after revealing their sad news, Stereo Kicks said: "We love you. We have tried all we can to stay together & we are still trying."
The boys then went on to perform their last ever (and super emotional) gig as Stereo Kicks at Thorpe Park. Ahead of taking to the stage, Reveal caught up with Charlie and Jake Sims who told us they have had the "best year of their lives" being in the boyband.
"Everything we have done has been amazing. I've had the best year of my life," Jake told us. "I made the best friends and had the best experiences. It has been amazing."
