Since his little man's arrival last year, Simon's favourite past time has been matching Eric's wardrobe to his and yesterday was no exception.
Bringing his baby boy along to boot camp with him, the music mogul had everyone coo'ing as he and Eric rocked the same jeans and white shirt combo. One of those being his good pal and fellow X Factor judge Cheryl, who couldn't resist capturing the boys and their identical getup on camera.
Taking to Instagram, Cheryl told fans: "Simon and his mini me."
In her photo, Simon can be seen holding Eric on his lap while sitting in a golf buggy. The only difference between the two? The 55-year-old is a little bigger and is rocking his trademark aviator shades. Although we're pretty sure Eric has a pair just like them...
Remember the very first 'like father, like son' photo Simon shared? Six months after Eric was born, Simon treated fans to a holiday snap of himself and Eric. In it, he and his boy were sporting matching Rayban sunglasses.
Simon then proved he and Eric share the same facial expressions, before posting yet another snap of himself and his son in matching outfits - this time, Simon's trademark black trousers and white shirt. Although Eric didn't get the memo and opted for a tee instead, leading his dad to joke: "No Eric. I said white shirt not t shirt."
Cheryl's Instagram of Simon and his baby boy comes after the X Factor judge recently opened up about Eric's first word.
Now 18 months, it's inevitable little Eric is soon to start talking, but instead of the usual parenting thoughts, 'will he say mama or dada first?', Simon is worried Eric may start barking, instead. True story!
"I have no idea what [Eric] is going to talk like," Simon admitted recently. "His mum [Lauren] is American, I am English and a lot of the girls in my house are from the Philippines.
"He spends most of his time with Squiddly and Diddly. He is going to end up barking."
Simon first welcomed Eric (his first child) with girlfriend Lauren Silverman on 14 February 2014. And it seems his first time at fatherhood is proving to be a succes, with Simon openly admitting he would like more children in the future.
