Yes, really! A BROKEN arm.
Usually if you're rocking a cast it's the perfect excuse to lay low and chill out for awhile, but not Mario. No, this Essex boy wasn't willing to give up on his buffed up bod just yet, getting in some extra leg work during a training session earlier today.
Taking to Twitter, Mario shared a picture of himself putting his legs through their paces on a weight machine. And if that wasn't photo proof enough that he is dedicated to his training regime, while holding his injured arm up for all to see, the 27-year-old said: "No excuses."
Ok, now we're feeling a little guilty...
The reality star's latest post comes after he recently revealed he had broken his arm. Showing off his injury on social media, Mario proved he was being well looked after with some much needed cuddles from his pet pup Oscar and plenty of chocolate muffins. Sounds like just what the doctor ordered, no?
While Mario is yet to confirm how exactly he broke his arm, it is believed he fell off a hands-free segway (otherwise known as a skyboard/ hoverboard /airboard). These toy gadgets are the latest craze our celebs can not get enough of with TOWIE's Jessica Wright, Holly Hagan, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw all giving them a whirl.
A source told the Mail Online: "He fell off one of those hoverboards, it's like a segway without handles. Mario was playing on one at home, he fell off and has fractured his arm."
He's not the only TOWIE star to be all bandaged up recently as Mario's co-star Jess is also sporting a cast.
Earlier this week, Jess revealed to fans she had broken her wrist. According to reports, the starlet had a "nasty fall" in the rain which saw her end up in A&E.
Showing off her injury on Snapchat, Jess admitted she was struggling to cope without both hands, she said: "Never missed my right hand so much."
Ouch! Get better soon, guys!
