X Factor judge Rita Ora has said it's "unfair" to be compared to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

Rita has joined this year's panel alongside good friend Nick Grimshaw and they take their place next to Cheryl and Simon Cowell.

But it seems like 'Shine Ya Light' singer Rita, who was a coach on the last series of The Voice UK, is apprehensive about how she will come across as a judge.

"I am nervous at what I say on the show as I don't have a filter," she told The Sun. "It's a bit unfair as Cheryl is really good as she's been here for years and is a total pro."

Rita described the process as a learning curve, but said having Radio 1 DJ Grimmy by her side is a massive help.

Rita added: "Obviously I'm just learning stuff. But I'm just happy that I have my good friend Grimmy [Nick Grimshaw] here to help."

Having spent the last week wrapping up arena auditions in Manchester and London, the judges are now putting singing hopefuls through their paces at Boot Camp.

The X Factor will return to ITV later this year.
