In a statement issued late Monday night (27 July), the musician said he was devastated about the death of his daughter at an Atlanta, Georgia hospice.
He said: "Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honour her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
Bobbi – the only child of the late Whitney Houston - had been treated in hospital since January, when she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgian home.
She was placed in a medically induced coma and never woke. Following treatment at a hospital, she was moved to a local hospice in June.
Her death was announced on Monday by a family representative, who said: "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
Bobbi's mother Whitney Houston died in 2012 after being found unconscious in the bathtub of a Los Angeles hotel.
