Love Island's winning couple Jess Hayes and Max Morley have reassured fans their romance is still on track after a heated argument.

Following a series of nights out together in London last week, Jess and Max were spotted coming to blows on Friday (24 July) outside of their hotel in the capital. While it's not known what the pair were arguing about, news of their row concerned fans as they began to speculate whether Jess and Max's two-week relationship was on the rocks.

Suggesting it's not and everything is well and good between them, both Jess and Max have since taken to social media to reassure fans everything is ok.

Following their argument on Friday, the pair later reunited at Essex hotspot Luxe for an evening out with their fellow islanders. Despite arriving separately to the event, Max and Jess soon found themselves back in each other's company and proving she's still just as smitten, Jess shared a photo with her beau to Instagram.

Tagging boyfriend Max alongside her post, she said: "My one @maxmorley77."

Max, meanwhile, brushed off the couple's recent fallout when responding to a fan on Twitter. The user had asked if he and Jess were ok, to which Max replied: "We are fine, just a little argument that's part of [being] in a relationship, all good today."

Now, the couple have headed home to each spend some time with their families, and looking forward to catching up with her 'rents after a busy week of partying, Jess cryptically tweeted: "Been emotional few days, decided to have time with my family after all the stress. #thinkingtime."

Max and Jess first got together while both starring on ITV2's returning dating show Love Island. Despite a rocky start (Max had ditched Jess for Naomi Ball), the pair eventually decided to rekindle their romance with Max officially asking Jess to be his girlfriend.

The couple then went onto beat newly engaged Hannah Elizabeth and Jon Clark to win the show, sharing the £50,000 prize fund on offer.

Reveal caught up with Jess and Max following their time in the Love Island villa and they told us, they "cannot wait" for their future together. Despite admitting "it wasn't going to be easy" thanks to the distance between them (Max lives in Huddersfield while Jess is based in Gloucestershire), the pair were excited to enjoy their romance away from the cameras.

While some viewers were sceptical the couple's romance wouldn't survive off the show, Jess and Max have so far proved them wrong, looking pretty loved-up together as they reunited in Jess' home town last week.

And we have to say they do look seriously good together! Fingers crossed their recent row was just a minor blip!
