A family representative announced she was surrounded by family as she passed away on Sunday (26 July) and was "finally at peace in the arms of God".
Bobbi was taken to hospital in January after her partner Nick Gordon found her unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta.
She was placed in a medically induced coma and never regained consciousness. In June, Bobbi was moved to a hospice in Georgia after her condition deteriorated.
Bobbi - referred to as Krissy by family members - was the only child of Whitney and R&B singer Bobby Brown.
Following the sad news of her passing, Bobbi was also honoured on Whitney's official Facebook page.
Along with a childhood photo of Bobbi with Whitney, the message read: "It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: 'The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.'"
Whitney was found dead in a hotel bathtub in 2012 aged 48.
