The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William sheltered under umbrellas when they arrived at the home of Land Rover BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) America's Cup team in Portsmouth, where they met up with sailor Sir Ben Ainslie.
The event was the first official duty for mum Kate since Princess Charlotte's christening earlier this month.
Kate dressed down in skinny jeans and flats, and we think she and handsome Prince William looked very fetching in their personalised matching fleeces!
The couple left their two children at home to cheer on Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben in the competitive heats.
But sadly, the yacht race got cancelled just one hour after they arrived due to 'extreme weather' as the 30mph winds were deemed unsuitable for proper safety regulations.
Instead, Kate and Wills chatted to fellow sailing enthusiasts and took a particular interest in anyone with children!
Kate is known for her love of sailing and even crewed a yacht that travelled round the world during her gap year.
During the day out, Kate tried out the sailing simulator which involved wearing goggles and taking charge of an imaginary ship.
She was heard to say it felt "weird".
Kate and William were also given wooden boat toys to take home for their children George and Charlotte.
