Ahead of her book's release, Vicky had told Reveal All That Glitters is autobiographical to a point and now she has revealed the leading lady in her story is actually based on herself, if she had only done things differently since finding fame.
"Issy has a lot of my traits, but she's better than me," Vicky recently told The Sun.
Better than our favourite Geordie Vicky P? How so?
Looking back at her career since starting out on MTV's Geordie Shore in 2011, Vicky admits she didn't handle being thrown into the spotlight very well, causing her to make some decisions she now wishes she hadn't.
She said: "I wish I'd taken some time off and taken time for myself.... [I wish] I'd realised - what Issy realises towards the end - that all of these celeb parties, photoshoots and the glamorous lifestyle don't mean anything unless you've got your family and friends there supporting you."
Although she insisted she feels very fortunate to be where she is now, Vicky did confess she wished she had been "better advised" by show bosses.
And as a result, she has given All That Glitters' Issy a few traits she maybe could have done with herself.
"Issy handles things better than me," Vicky added. "She's nicer than me... she thinks more before she speaks than I do. She's me if I could edit myself."
All That Glitters tells the story of a young girl Issy that finds herself with fame on her doorstep, after auditioning for a reality TV show. Surrounded by glamour and celebrities, Issy nearly has everything she's ever wanted, but she soon realises it all comes at a cost, learning the valuable lesson that 'all that glitters, isn't gold'.
The novel marks Vicky's first attempt at writing and with it now having been published, she told Reveal she is enjoying adding 'novelist' to her résumé
"I feel quite swanky calling myself a novelist," she told us. "I'm feeling very tired but very proud of myself. Writing has always been a massive passion of mine so it's a massive accolade for me."
As well as making her mark on the book charts, Vicky is currently starring in her very own MTV show Judge Geordie.
Judge Geordie sees the starlet travel up and down the country as she helps the people of Britain to deal with their relationship issues. Having just wrapped the first series of the show, Judge Geordie marks Vicky's first TV project since she quit Geordie Shore in October last year.
She is also set to appear in the brand new series of Ex On The Beach, returning to MTV next month. Vicky joins celebrity exes TOWIE star Kirk Norcross, Celebrity Big Brother's Cami Li and Ibiza Weekender star Jordan Davies.
