The former footballer will make his Hollywood debut in the heavily hyped spy action movie although sadly it's just a cameo appearance… hopefully not too brief a one though, right?!
David's wife Victoria alluded to the cameo via Instagram this week when she shared an image of David pointing at movie posters in a car parking lot.
And then the movie's director Guy Ritchie confirmed the news to Access Hollywood but hinted Becks may not appear on screen as we would expect: "He's marginally disguised but he's in the movie. I mean, once you know who it is, you'll know who it is."
A source added to The Sun: "Becks gets the plot going and sets the scene for the rest of the movie. He was very grateful to Guy for getting him a small role and it was a great experience."
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. stars Henry Cavill as CIA Agent Solo, while Social Network's Armie Hammer is KGB Agent Kuryakin. The movie is a reboot of the popular 1960s television series set against the backdrop of the Cold War.
It's released in the UK on 14 August.
