A rep for the show has denied claims Tommy almost proposed at the carnival-themed finale party but was talked out of it by producers who wanted to save the big moment for next series.
The spokesperson told Reveal: "There is absolutely no truth to this story. We follow the cast's real lives and if Tommy wanted to propose we would have of course followed it."
A source said told The Sun: "Tommy had a few drinks and said he was going to ask Georgia to marry him. They begged him to save it for the next series, so he gave her a promise ring instead and vowed to be a good boy."
If Tommy was going to propose to Georgia, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise given how loved up this couple have been all series.
Their relationship was tested at the start of the series thanks to Ferne McCann suggesting Tommy didn't speak to Georgia with respect, but Georgia stood by her man and declared: "We bicker, we laugh, but we are madly in love .. Just a real normal couple."
She later said the whole situation had just made her realise she and Tommy shouldn't row in public as people will take it the wrong way.
"Tommy is my boyfriend at the end of the day and I will back him up and I have his back no matter what. It's not like we have to sit at home and discuss this privately because there is nothing to discuss! We haven't had one row since we've been back from Marbella. We don't actually row that much! Just when we do unfortunately row, we're very vocal and people have heard about it," she said.
"Other couples row more than us but when they do, they do it in corners and no one knows. We had one little bicker and everyone is now opinionated because we are vocal! The only thing I'll take out of this as a positive is we both now know not to row in front of people because that way people can't have opinions."
