Katy Perry has landed an Emmy nomination for her halftime Super Bowl performance.

'Roar' singer Katy wowed audiences with her all-important performance at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in February.

Katy's performance featured guest appearances from Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott, and the stage was full of colourful costumes, moving scenery, an animatronic tiger and even dancing sharks!

Taking to Twitter last night (16 July), Katy decided to personally thank her 'left shark' dancer, whose hilarious dance moves had become a viral hit.

Katy tweeted: "Um...Woke up to my first Emmy nomination for the Halftime show!!! V proud of everyone involved especially #leftshark."

In January, Katy revealed her nerves ahead of her halftime Super Bowl stint, saying on the TODAY show: "Can I be human and say yes, I will be nervous! But I'm going to kind of recycle those nerves and make them adrenaline."

Well, it looks like Katy did just that!
