Charlie, who plays Val Pollard in the Dales, announced last month that she would be leaving the soap after 11 years.
Speaking on Loose Women yesterday (16 July), Charlie said: "I've left - finished. It's still on screen until mid-August I think, or the beginning of August. I've got the flowers, got the champagne and I'm off."
Charlie said her final scene was with her on-screen husband Chris Chittell, who plays Eric Pollard, and her on-screen sister Elizabeth Estensen, who plays Diane Sugden.
"It was strange because my last scene - it's not the last scene that I'm in because it's filmed out of order - was with my husband and my sister," explained Charlie. "Of course I've been working with them for 12 years and I just thought, 'Well just do it, it's just another scene'.
"All the time I was going, 'This is the last time you'll speak to him - stop it! This is the last time you'll look at her - stop it!' It was like I was having an out of body experience with it."
Charlie said the end of filming was quite emotional.
"We were out in the village, so it was beautiful sunshine on that lovely set," she continued. "Then when they shouted cut, the first assistant director said, 'That was Charlie's last scene', and everybody started clapping and I was a bit overwhelmed."
In June, Charlie announced her exit from the soap, saying "the time has come" to stop playing the iconic character. In a statement, she descirbed her time on the show as "a blast". Charlie said she will take a break once filming ends.
