The 'Promise This' singer sparked concerns for her health at the last auditions after showing off her skinny frame in a tiny crop top. So perhaps it's no surprise that today she kept covered up.
Cheryl arrived at Wembley in a pink leather dress with scallop trim and kept her hair tied back in a very Hollywood chic updo.
Filmed judges' auditions for the new series of X Factor began on 8 July – but rather than the attention being on the contestants, it was Cheryl who made headlines because of her small frame.
Cheryl had earlier hit out at comments about her size, saying: "I'm so f***ing sick of people thinking it's ok to be mean or body shame anyone, and it's woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please... I am just tired of the ignorance. At some point it's just enough. Some people are naturally thin. My mother is all of 4'11 and six stone something. And is incredibly healthy and happy."
Among those backing Cheryl this week was Reveal.co.uk blogger Brooke Vincent.
The Corrie star told us this week: "People automatically presume that skinny/petite people starve themselves and that's not always the case. One of my friends Jasmine is a size 4 naturally and a 6 when she was pregnant. This isn't because she starves herself and she isn't a gym fanatic. She was just born that way.
"People's body shapes are different along with people's metabolisms, causing people to gain and lose weight in different ways. Going back to Cheryl, she continued to state her reason behind her weight loss and tried to enlighten people on how it feels to be on the other side of the "weight hate". My opinion is people are all different shapes and sizes, like I said a few weeks ago, and instead of putting each other down, we should be lifting each other up! Girl power?"
