Jessie J told fans 'I don't like being famous' as she performed at Henley-On-Thames last night (8 July)

Speaking during her set at Henley Festival, the 'Bang Bang' singer told the crowd: "I don't like being famous, I'm not very good at it. I like simple things like cooking and bowling. I like helping people."

Well, before she shuns the whole fame and fortune thing for a night down the local bowling alley, it's worth noting that Jessie is actually mega successful when it comes to the fame game. Not only that, but she does help her fans, through her fame. Clever hey?

She's all about those empowering messages in songs like 'Price Tag' and 'Nobody's Perfect', and recently bounced back from a hospital stay to wow crowds at Wireless Festival.

Fans who attended the concert were quick to gush about Jessie's inspirational attitude, saying "You were great last night, thank you Jessie, I really needed to hear who you are and it gave me a boost to remember not to forget who I am and how I shouldn't change for other people."

Proving just how good she is at the entertaining lark, Jessie J stripped down to her bralet and threw her top into the crowd mid-show, not something many of us could do at work...

But if Jessie still fancies an evening watching Netflix and baking a few fairy cakes, she's more than welcome to join us!
