The singer is back on the judging panel for the 12th series alongside Simon Cowell and newcomers Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.
Filmed auditions in front of the judges kicked off in Manchester yesterday, giving us the first look at the new panel, new hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, and new Xtra Factor presenters Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom.
At the end of the day, Cheryl reached out to everyone who hadn't made it through this time.
She tweeted: "Thank you so much to everyone that auditioned today. If it didn't work out for you this time please don't give up! Dust yourself off and try again!
"Also thank you to everyone who came out to support them. I hope you had a great experience and you got to see what we see."
Cheryl's well aware of what it's like to be chasing a dream and auditioning on a reality show: she found fame on the TV series Popstars: The Rivals, where she went on to become a member of Girls Aloud.
The band went on to achieve 20 Top 10 singles, six platinum albums and a BRIT Award. Cheryl then launched a solo career, scoring five number one singles in the UK – the only British female ever to do so!
