Rita Ora definitely made her mark as she rocked up for her first day on The X Factor, oozing all the sass in her head-to-toe red getup.

Last month, it was confirmed Rita would be joining the X Factor judging panel along with Nick Grimshaw, and since her name was added to the line-up, we've been eagerly awaiting to see what outfits she'd be pulling out of her wardrobe.

Arriving to Event City in Manchester earlier today, Rita proved she knows how to make an entrance, channelling her inner vixen for her X Factor debut.

Forget your ordinary LBD, the 'Poison' singer opted for her very own little red dress instead, teaming it with matching thigh-high patent boots and huge gold hoop earrings.

On the beauty front, gone was Rita's edgy pixie crop of late, as the 24-year-old was sporting luscious long locks, styled into an elegant wave. She teamed her new lengths with thick eyeliner on her peepers and a nude-hue on her lips.

Her arrival to the first round of judges auditions came after Cheryl Fernandez-Versini kicked things off in the style stakes, showcasing her abs in an all black ensemble.

She followed Nick Grimshaw who was the first of the show's judges to make his way into auditions.

New hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs were also there to get things underway, along with The Xtra Factor's new presenting duo Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom.

Back for its twelfth series, Simon Cowell has promised there will be major changes to the X Factor this time round.

And while the music mogul is keeping quiet on what format changes that may entail for the competition, he has claimed this year is "make or break" for the talent show.

Rita, meanwhile, has revealed it is those changes that made her join the X Factor as one of its new judges.

Previously a coach on The Voice, the singer has jumped ship to ITV and explaining her reasons why, she said: "When Simon approached me and he explained to me the show and what they are planning to do this year, I wanted to be a part of it.

"What's so great about the new line up - which is really exciting - is that you have four different perspectives, you know. You've got all these amazing musicians and business-minded people on the same panel that know music and I'm just happy to be a part of that."

We can't wait to see her in action!
