Andy has confirmed his exit following speculation this week that he was no longer part of the E4 show.

He has decided to leave to focus on his lifestyle brand, Jam Industries, and to focus on his solo career as a singer-songwriter, explaining that he is unable to commit to the show's long filming hours.

In a lengthy blog post on his Jam Industries website, Andy said: "It seems a lot of people are now discussing my departure from Made In Chelsea, so I figured I best clear a few things up by outlining exactly whats been going on in my life, and exactly what I plan to do next.

"Firstly, I feel its important to reflect on what has been an amazing couple of years making a very stylish, funny and sometimes (mostly) dramatic TV show. From the moment Stevie Johnson and I landed in the South of France a few years ago and I began hitting on Louise Thompson, I knew I was in for an exciting and bumpy ride."

Andy dated Louise on the show.

Andy, who said that he will now be working on making a debut album, also reflected on his main storylines on the popular reality series.

"In two and a half years I have fallen in and out of love, become friends with enemies, watched drinks thrown, withstood numerous awkward silences and sipped what must be thousands of glasses of champagne and bloody Mary's, all of which I intend to continue," he said. "Unfortunately I will no longer be doing this in front of camera… For now!"

Andy was last seen on screen during MIC's last series, where he turned down romance with Jess Woodley after Jamie Laing revealed he too had feelings for her.

Andy had his first music showcase in August 2013.

Andy added: "I want to thank each and every person who has joined me and supported me over past few years. I hope that you will continue to follow and stay with me on this journey and I hope that in doing so you get to know the real me better…"

Some of Andy's co-stars are currently in Los Angeles filming for the brand new spin-off series to air this summer.
