TOWIE's Lydia Bright said she hopes boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent will "grow up" after revealing fears that he was falling back into bad habits.

In the last episode of the ITVBe reality show, Lydia burst into tears after revealing Arg - who entered rehab over Christmas - was drinking again.

Now speaking in a new video on the TOWIE website, Lydia said: "I feel a lot happier that me and Arg have spoke. It's good to talk about things rather than burying them and sweeping them under the carpet. That's why we're in the position we are now because I ended up just exploding. Let's just hope that things change moving forward."

During the episode, Arg and Lydia had a heart-to-heart, where he vowed to change and stop drinking.

Lydia continued to say in the video: "I do worry about Arg because he's been through a very dark place once in his life and he's battled with demons, so I wouldn't care about him if I wasn't worried about him sometimes.

"I just think sometimes he needs to hear the harsh truth and the reality of what things can become if he doesn't nip things in the bud."

Moving forward, Lydia hopes Arg will take more responsibility: "It's hard sometimes talking to James because he tries to make a joke of everything, but I hope he took on board what I said because things can't carry on the way that they have been for the last few days. Fingers crossed things will change now.

"I just want James to take life a little bit more seriously and for him to just mature a little bit and grow up. It's a long time coming so hopefully he will."

TOWIE airs every Wednesday and Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
