Exclusive: Mario Falcone & Ferne McCann tease: "The G.C has been resurrected!"

TOWIE star Gemma Collins has only just bid her fiery alter-ego G.C goodbye, but it seems she may have already welcomed her back with open arms.

In Wednesday's episode of the show, the reality star told her co-stars her character had finally spiralled out of control. And when Ferne McCann bluntly pointed out that the G.C is rude, brash and demanding, Gemma decided her outlandish persona just had to go.

However, it seems she may have spoken to soon according to her co-stars...

TOWIE episode aired 1 July 2015: Gemma talks about Lauren

Earlier today, Reveal caught up with Ferne and Mario Falcone and they teased viewers are in for an explosive showdown during TOWIE's next episode.

When asked if they truly believe the G.C had been dead and buried, Mario tellingly told us: "Just watch Sunday's episode of the show. It's so good!"

Ferne then added that Gemma's epiphany to become just a normal girl again had been "short-lived". She teased: "[The G.C] has been resurrected!"

Is it bad that we're kind of glad?! TOWIE just wouldn't be the same without Gemma and her divaship, right?

While the pair may have teased the barney of all barneys to go down in Essex, they weren't spilling any details as to who will be the unlucky ones feeling the G.C's wrath. But going on Gemma's latest beef with her co-stars, we have a funny feeling Lauren Pope and Vas J Morgan could be in the firing line.

TOWIE episode to air 21 June 2015: Gemma and Vas

Vas had upset Gemma when the TOWIE cast were holidaying in Marbella, after telling Lauren he couldn't deal with sharing a villa with his co-star.

In a heated confrontation back in Essex, Gemma had slammed Vas for not being able to handle her positivity, but he simply told her she was "delusional". Ouch!

Vas and BFF Lauren then criticised Gemma's friendship with Bobby Norris, telling Bobby they think his so-called bestie talks down to him. And while Gemma did bite back, telling the pair they had no idea how close she and Bobby really are, it seems their words did hit home.

Wanting to rid herself of G.C and the negativity her alter-ego brings, Gemma decided to burn anything that reminded herself of her.

Explaining why she wanted to start afresh, the 34-year-old said: "I feel every time Essex people see me they expect me to be this over the top, outlandish character when I'm just a normal girl.

"I never even created GC. People started calling me GC. You know like Beyonce became Sasha Fierce and Puff Daddy became Pimp Daddy. There was Gemma Collins. Now there is a GC. It's been so much pressure. GC is a bit of a pr**k really. She's jumped up, she doesn't really care about anyone, she's loud, she's brash. She stinks."

We wonder if G.C now still thinks the same...

TOWIE continues Sunday 5 July at 10pm on ITVBe.
