Caroline, who has hosted the ITV2 show since its return earlier this month, took to Twitter to share the good news.
She said: "Bloody well done Team Love island. The show has doubled in figures since the beginning and the downloads are brilliant. GOOD WORK X."
According to data supplied by BARB, Tuesday night's show (30 June) enjoyed a ratings boost with 584k watching the 9pm slot.
From arguments, tears and near-enough fights, the villa has seen its fair share of drama with the boys and girls. However, in between all of that has been the romance.

Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark were the first to become an official couple. Making the leap to boyfriend and girlfriend, Jon and Hannah have still had a few arguments, but the chemistry between them is clear for all to see.
Besides, Jon and Hannah's romantic heart-to-heart last week is still the cutest moment of the show yet!
Jon told Hannah: "All I ever want to do is support you and be with you and make you the best person you can be. I've never felt like this in my life, ever.
"You make me feel like a rainbow, you are the perfect woman, your looks, your body, your personality, your laugh, your teeth, your hair, your smell, everything about you is what I want. You're perfect to me."
There's been plenty of racy antics too, with Jon and Hannah admitting to having had sex in the house, and more recently, new official couple Jordan Ring and Zoe Basia Brown also got intimate in the hideaway.
Probably the most controversial islander is flirtatious glamour model Jess Hayes, who despite catching the eye of most of the boys on arrival, has managed to get "pied" twice after pairing up with Josh Ritchie and later Max Morley.
And above all, Calum Best returned!
Marking 10 years since he first entered the celebrity version of the reality show, Calum returned to the show that made him famous and took the boys on a wild night out in Magaluf.
Of course, it is a competition after all, and the villa has said goodbye to islanders and welcomed new ones in equal measure, as the singletons try to pair up with one another.
Love Island, which is filmed Majorca, rewards the winning couple with £50,000.
