Judge Geordie star Vicky Pattison proved she's a right natural beauty as she passed on putting on her make-up this morning.

And to be fair we probably should have joined her, as this heat only means one thing - sweaty and streaky war paint. Not ideal!

Braving the cameras without prepping with her glam kit beforehand, Vicky proved less really can be more as she looked just fabulous in her au naturel selfie.

Oh, if only we could dare to bare too!

Taking to Instagram, Vicky shared her make-up free photo with fans and many were quick to compliment her on her appearance. One follower told the reality star she looked "amazing", while another suggested they preferred her look when she wasn't all dolled up: "Better with no make-up."

And while there's no denying she does look great going natural, we've no doubt Vicks had her trusty stash of make-up and tools handy in the car. After all, today is a big day for the 27-year-old, so we've no doubt she'll be pulling out all the stops.

Heading up North, Vicky will be kicking off her book tour for her debut novel All That Glitters in her hometown of Newcastle.

Alongside her latest Instagram post, she told fans: "Bright eyed, bushy tailed, fresh faced and ready for today!!! My first book signing is at 4pm in @whsmith on Northumberland Street in NEWCASTLE!!!! So happy to be kicking off my book tour in my home town!!! #allthatglitters."

As well as fronting her own show Judge Geordie, Vicky revealed in May she has been working on her first ever book. All That Glitters tells the story of a young girl who finds fame on her doorstep after auditioning for a reality TV show. Sounds familiar? We thought so.

Making parallels to her own life, Vicky has happily admitted her novel is autobiographical to a point, as she learned a valuable lesson after being flung into the spotlight when starting out on Geordie Shore.

"I do feel overwhelmed by fame," she exclusively told Reveal. "I think you have to be made of pretty strong stuff to get into this industry and not be sucked into your own hype, and try to stay true to who you are and what is important.

"I'll hold my hands up and say that for a while, I did get quite sucked in and I wanted the celeb lifestyle with all the trimmings... I realised quite early on, thank god, that everything I achieve doesn't mean anything without my mum and dad and my real friends there to celebrate it with me."

Vicky's debut novel All That Glitters is available to buy from 2 July.
