Niall Horan has admitted he can't see One Direction ever being asked to headline Glastonbury.

After visiting the festival himself at the weekend, the Irish singer told The Mirror that although he'd love the chance to appear on the famous Pyramid Stage, it probably wouldn't happen while part of 1D.

He said: "We're not cool enough to play at Glastonbury! It's so cool, we had loads of fun. We were there for a day but we had to leave at 1am because we had a gig, but we're going back next year for sure."

Niall attended the festival with Louis Tomlinson.

The boys had to leave the festival early to make their concert in Helsinki, Finland on the 27 June. Now they've got a break until 9 July, when the 'On The Road Again Tour' arrives in the US.

Niall's already making the most of his time off. He was seen attending the first day of Wimbledon over the weekend after reportedly being invited by defending champion Novak Djokovic.

A source told Metro: "Niall was invited by Djokovic to watch him play and there's no doubt that he's backing him to win."
