The 65-year-old wore a black bodycon dress and heels to join friends for dinner in Manhattan on Monday evening (29 June).
Although we've seen Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair, in her ABC News and in trailers for her new E! show, this is the first time she's been pictured out in public since unveiling Caitlyn to the world in May.
Caitlyn was dining with a group of transgender women and later tweeted: "Such a fun dinner in NYC w/ this powerful group of trans women. They are all so beautiful."
The day before, former Olympian Caitlyn had been seen in the crowds at New York's Pride event, watching the action from a rooftop hotel.
Caityn spoke about life as a woman in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, and later told Vanity Fair she was overwhelmed by the reaction from the public.
"Honestly, since the Diane Sawyer piece every day it's exciting to go to the mailbox, because I get letters every day from all of these people from all over the world. I've gotten a lot from trans women, telling their story, and how excited they were to see the Diane piece."
