In May, radio DJ Sarah announced that she would not be returning to X Factor's ITV2 spin-off show after presenting it for a year. It was confirmed this month that Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom will be the new co-hosts.
Speaking exclusively to Reveal ahead of her search to find the UK and Ireland's next presenter for E!, Sarah tells us: "In some ways I'll miss it because it was such a juggernaut of a show and it becomes your whole world. It's really energetic and emotional to be a part of.
"I kind of wanted to do other things and last year I was doing like seven days a week for like two months straight," she continues. "It was really quite overwhelming."
Sarah already sent her congratulations to Rochelle and Melvin, and she tells us that she can't wait to see them on screen.
"I'm really excited to see what Rochelle and Melvin do. They're both friends of mine and I've known them for years. I messaged them congrats and I genuinely am excited to see how it all works out."
When the news was announced, Rochelle said she was "beyond excited" to join the team. Meanwhile Melvin, who is a massive fan of the primetime show, said it is his "dream" job.
Although she'll be finding time to watch the show, Sarah will be busy working on her new project as she goes on the hunt to find someone with a passion for the celebrity world and an ability to break showbiz news stories on camera.
The search starts from Wednesday, 1 July, when hopefuls can submit a one-minute audition tape via a dedicated digital hub via eonline.com. Successful applicants will then be invited for a screen test.
