During an interview on ITV's Lorraine, the boxing manager spoke about sending an open letter to Caitlyn following the Olympic athlete's Vanity Fair magazine cover in which she introduced her new self.
Kellie said: "I know what it's like. I live is a goldfish bowl - she actually lives in an aquarium, you know! So I just thought if I could give her some advice on how to deal with it - not that she needs it - but if she knows there's other people out there and [needs] any help then we're there. My daughters also sent letters to her daughters and to the Kardashians."
She added: "Most of us, all we want to be is treated as human being like everyone else - we don't want to be labelled, we just want to get on with our life and enjoy life. I've really found myself now and I'm much more happier and contented. I enjoy the girls' [his daughters] company - not that I didn't enjoy it before - but it's a lot more easier now… and I think we are a lot more closer now.
"We are closer in a different kind of way, we're more friends now than we ever were before definitely closer.
"Others that I've met, some are still struggling with their children and Libby and Sophie have been very helpful and they've done speeches and talked to others and they go to my support group as well."
Kellie has spoken about her experience in a new autobiography, Frankly Kellie: Becoming A Woman In A Man's World.
She said: "It was better than any sort of counselling I had or therapy - it was the final piece I had to do and be very truthful."
