TOWIE's Georgia Kousoulou thinks Ferne McCann has "gone too far" with her latest comments.

Fireworks exploded between the co-stars on last night's episode of the show, after Ferne admitted she'd called Georgia a "doormat" and thought Georgia was the weaker partner in her relationship with Tommy Mallet.

Prior to that, things hadn't been great between the girls after Ferne suggested Tommy didn't speak to Georgia with the respect she deserved.

Chatting to the official TOWIE website after last night's row, Georgia said she was done with Ferne and wanted to distance herself from her co-star going forward.

"Ferne has definitely gone way too far," she said. "It's not even about an opinion. This is strong statements that she's saying. I don't think she realises the backlash it will cause. It's disgusting because she doesn't know me or my relationship or anyone enough to make comments like that."

Georgia went on to say: "I'm definitely going to distance myself from Ferne. Her negativity is getting ridiculous. And I think she doesn't learn every time she does this.

"She makes way too many comments. She says they are opinions but they are more like statements and the statements she says have such a bad and negative effect.

"I don't want to be around somebody like that. I don't go around in life slagging people off. I don't do it! She is completely different to me so I'd rather stay away from it. I think I will stay away and keep my distance for a while."

TOWIE airs Wednesdays and Sundays at 10pm on ITVBe.
