Kanye West's headline slot at Glastonbury festival caused controversy from the minute it was announced, so perhaps we should have expected plenty of drama on the actual night!

And luckily, we weren't disappointed... From wife Kim Kardashian turning up in a muddy field wearing heels, to a stage invader trying to ruin Kanye's set!

Rapper Kanye, 38, and Kim, 34, arrived at Glastonbury festival in Somerset on Saturday (27 June) in style when their helicopter landed in the afternoon.

Posting a photo from the helicopter, Kim simply wrote: "Glastonbury here we come..."

However, after landing at the famous site, Kim quickly regretted wearing black heeled sandals as she was seen struggling with the mud.

As usual, though, Kim saw the funny side taking to Twitter to say: "Perfect shoes for Glastonbury! LOL (have my wellies in the car don't worry)."

Later that night, thousands turned up to see Kanye perform on the Pyramid stage - usually reserved for rock bands (hence the haters).

But even the naysayers must have been glued to the gig - which was also televised on the BBC - when a stage invader threatened to ruin Kanye's set.

Comedian Lee Nelson, who also invaded Stereo Kick's performance on The X Factor last year, wore a mock Lee-zus T-shirt as he managed to get on stage and 'rap' next to the 'Midas Touch' star.

Security swiftly dispatched Lee, leaving Kanye - who rather famously invaded the stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMA Awards in 2009 - able to continue his set.

He paid tribute to Kim during a rendition of the track 'Lost In The World'.

He told festival goers: "This song was extra special for me. I was trying to explain to a girl I loved so much how much I loved her. She brought this poetry out in me that became the lyrics and she ended up becoming my wife and she's here tonight."

Kim later tweeted: "Glastonbury 2015! Craziest show ever!!!!!"

Yep, Kim, you got that right!
