TOWIE's Jake Hall has said he may have to "step back" from his relationship with Chloe Lewis if the couple cannot resolve their issues.

In the last episode of the ITVBe reality show, Chloe burst into tears after confronting Jake about going to a party with Vas J Morgan, after she claimed to have seen photos of Jake with other women.

Tensions were already high between the couple following previous arguments about Chloe following another man on Twitter.

Speaking about their heated row at the Summer Solstice party, Jake said in a new video on the TOWIE website: "I think Chloe does play the victim sometimes. Vas put it in a good way that I find it difficult sometimes to explain myself.

"For me, it was really difficult when Chloe cried because it's not nice for me to see. Although I get angry about things, it doesn't mean that they don't hurt me like they hurt her. Just because I don't cry, I might get upset about it in other ways. It just looks like I'm a bad person, I'm not, I'm a nice person."

Jake and Chloe rekindled their romance in Marbella earlier this month, under the condition that Jake would prove himself to her by going on a trial period.

Referring to their argument about Chloe following another man on Twitter, Jake said: "I do think this Twitter thing was another test. I'm getting sick of loads of tests. I feel like I'm a school again.

"She knows me, we've been together for a long time, so she would that would wind me up. I just don't get why you would do that when someone is trying to change."

Chloe was in tears over the argument.

Jake said he and Chloe will have to make a big decision: "The whole changing thing is not overnight so we would have to sit down and say dos and don'ts, or maybe we might have to step back.

"But I don't want really want to step back when I've done the trial and gone through all of that rubbish. It would have all been pointless."
