Kerry Katona's husband taken to hospital with "signs of a stroke"

Kerry Katona's husband George Kay has been taken to hospital amid fears that he has had a stroke.

Big Reunion star Kerry took to Twitter late last night (25 June) to reveal that George had been unwell.

She tweeted: "Asking you all to say a prayer for my @mrgsjkay been taken into hospital with signs of a stroke xxx."

Despite being admitted to hospital, George was still able to tweet, and he wrote an hour later: "Hoping it's bells paisley (think that's how you spell it) xxx [sic]."

Bell's palsy is a condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face.

Reveal have contacted Kerry's rep for comment.

Former rugby player George married Atomic Kitten singer Kerry last September. The couple are parents to daughter Dylan-Jorge. Kerry is also mum to Molly, Lilly-Sue, Heidi and Max from previous relationships.
